- Central Night Shelter Opportunities. Please sign up to volunteer at the Central Night Shelter this winter. Kairos is responsible for “staffing” the shelter with 6-8 people on the following dates: Thursday January 26th, Thursday Feb 2nd, and Friday March 9th. - NEW: Sunday Morning Group. It is hard to get to know other couples when you are trying to watch your children while holding a conversation. That is why we thought that it would be a good idea to create a weekly opportunity for parents to gather before worship so we can enjoy each other’s company while our children enjoy childcare. We envision this to be a time when we can have fellowship, conversation based study, and the opportunity to pray for one another. - Children’s Ministry Position. We are currently searching for a part-time (15-20 hr pw) Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Our Children’s Ministry is growing deep and wide and we are looking for someone who can coordinate curriculum, childcare, and volunteers as we seek to teach, nurture, and encourage our little ones to follow in the way of Jesus. Make a New Year’s Resolution that will make a differennce to your community of faith – sign up to volunteer on one of our teams, or offer to use your gifts/passions/skills at Kairos. - New Membership Opportunity. The next membership class will be held on Saturday, February 11th from 9am-noon. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the vision and values of Kairos, and to consider a commitment to “encourage one another daily to follow in the way of Jesus” through this community.
