Announcements
- Year End Giving. At Kairos, we believe that we are called to obedience and generosity with our financial resources. We hope you received the letter from Kairos Treasurer, Gary McNorrill, who writes, “We are asking each person who believes in our mission of encouraging one another daily to follow in the way of Jesus, to consider what you can give as we close out the year. This is a time when many of us are considering ways to support various causes that are dear to our heart. I hope and trust that Kairos will be a significant part of your generosity.” The full letter is posted on the GIVE page of the website, along with information on the why and how of giving.
- Central Night Shelter Opportunities. Please sign up to volunteer at the Central Night Shelter this winter. Kairos is responsible for “staffing” the shelter with 6-8 people on the following dates: Thursday January 26th, Thursday Feb 2nd, and Friday March 9th. Contact Neal Foushee for information and/or to sign up nealfoushee@gmail.com
- Volunteer in 2012. Make a New Year’s Resolution that will make a differennce to your community of faith – sign up to volunteer on one of our teams, or offer to use your gifts/passions/skills at Kairos. You have been blessed by others at our church – now it may be your turn to be a blessing to others. News You Should Know
Camille Josey, our newest addition to the staff, was in a serious car accident last week. She has several fractures, severe bruising, and has undergone surgery on her ankle. Camille spent Christmas at Kennestone Hospital, but was allowed to return home on 12/26. Please be praying for Camille as she recovers and recuperates. We are so grateful that she survived the crash.
